May

 May has been such a busy and exciting month, filled with so many amazing experiences. The biggest highlight for me was having my very own Meet the Maker Extravaganza. People came along to the café to see all the creative projects I have been working on, and I loved being able to showcase my artwork. I even got to perform a song for everyone, which made the day extra special because I absolutely love performing.

Cooking has also been taken to the next level this month, with us creating some delicious and fancy dishes. My favourites were the mini cheesecakes, blueberry muffins, and tasty vegetable fritters. Everything looked and tasted amazing.

In music, we travelled “around the world” again and explored Scottish music. I found the bagpipes so fascinating, and it was really fun listening to the different styles of music. Of course, I already knew some of the artists and happily sang along to Calvin Harris songs. We also explored American music and artists, which was especially exciting because it included two of my favourites — Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus.

We have also started a new volunteer session at the Merivale Community Centre, where we help sort books, toys, and clothing. I really enjoy helping wherever I can, and we always have such a fun time together while giving back to the community.
